Cathay Herbal Bupleurum and Danggui Formula (Xia Yao San)

Dispersing the stagnated liver-energy, strengthening the spleen and nourishing the blood; mainly for cases due to stagnation of liver-energy and hypofunction of spleen, which are manifested as distending pain of the upper abdomen, dizziness, tiredness, poor appetite, chills and fever, menoxenia, or fullness over the breast and hypochondriac pain, reddish tongue, wiry and weak pulse.

Each pill contains herbal extracts equivalent to dry:

Angelica polymorpha, root 24mg
Atractylodes macrocephala, rhizome 24mg
bupleurum falcatum, root 24mg
Paeonia lactiflora, root 24mg
Poria cocos, root 24mg
Zingiber officianle, rhizome 24mg
Glycyrrhiza uralensis, root 19mg
Mentha haplocalyx, whoel plant 5mg

Directions:

Take 8 pills 3 times per day, 1/2-1 hour away from meals with a cup of warm water.
